Possibilities of the Tensile Test
Nevřivý, David ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the possibilities of tensile testing, the parameters of the test specimens, testing machines and the equipment which can be used in this test. Based on the literature review, the thesis explains the test principle, the measurement process and the strain and stress characteristics detected by the test. The thesis then focuses on the test specimens, their geometry, the method of their sampling and gripping into the machine. When describing the machines and equipment used in tensile testing, the thesis explains the functionality of these and their different types. The work also covers special types of tensile tests, namely those using elevated temperature, high-speed deformation, and cyclic or multiaxial stress. The final part of the thesis examines the current trend of evaluating the tensile test using 3D optical measurement systems
Assembly Design of Ball-Joint Test Bench Hydraulic Unit
Novák, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The main object of this thesis is the proposal of fitting (setting) hydraulic cylinder into test equipment of ball-joints of company TRW-DAS Dačice a.s. The thesis includes a short review about testing ball-joint of above company and about liquid mechanisms. Also, there are analyzed demands for fitting (setting) hydraulic cylinder into testing equipment. In the main part of this thesis there is described my own constructive proposal with numeric calculations in proper software. In enclosure there are all analytical calculations with productive drawings and an assembly drawing.
Control system design for small test machine
Rasocha, David ; Králík, Jan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of small testing machine for measuring tensile strength of materials. Appropriate hardware for driving the motor with serial communication will be used. Main drive is a stepper motor with microstepping. Instructions for motor is provided by microcontroler which will be comunicating with aplication in computer. This aplication will have all user functions nessesary for using this device.
Construction of equipment for loading the sample on a universal testing machine
Ševčík, Ondřej ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focusess on the construction of equipment for loading a sample onto a uni-versal testing machine. The designs came from analysing existing designs. The best pro-posal was then designed using SolidWorks. The product was then subjected to a MKP analysis, which examined the behavior of the loaded product together with the procures-braised model sample. Finally, all of the drawings were documented to prepare for pro-duction.
Measurement of Bearings Power Losses
Musil, Roman ; Raffai, Peter (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The intention of this bachelor's thesis is to handle an information about the measurement of losses in radial slide bearings and rolling bearings. In a first section, there is described friction in bearings. The next section is about the comparing machines with static and dynamic conditions. Third section describe methods and means of experimental measurement of losses in bearings under different operating conditions. In fourth section, there is introduced the numerical model for friction losses. In the last section, there is summary of machines and there is depicted possible future development too.
Testing equipment for fatigue testing of composite materials under bending load.
Petruška, Ondřej ; Juračka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with fatigue of composite materials. It is split into two main parts. First part is theoretical and is about mechanisms of fatigue degradation of composite materials and fatigue testing methods. In second part is described design of fatigue testing machine for composite materials with one-side three-point or four-point bending load. Complete manufacturing documentation is included.
Mechanical design of stend for lower limbs prostheses dynamic testing
Taufer, Tomáš ; Robenek, Dětřich (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This work describes design and realization of testing device for dynamic tests of foot prosthesis, made by methods of Rapid prototyping. Primary objective of design is to imitate the load on prosthesis during human gait. This task is accomplished by swing motion of prosthesis inside the frame of device during the loading of heel and tiptoe. Loading components can be removed and changed so the device can be used for different measurement like walking on an inclined plane. The result of this work is fully functional device including control program with many options to control the test. The result of test is to decide whether the foot prosthesis withstands the set of cyclic loads. The area of development of prosthesis by additive methods is young for the time being. It stands out especially with different materials, design, structure of prosthesis and fast process of production. Therefore this device can be used for testing of fatigue life of prosthesis made by additive methods.
